PA Hackers was formerly OnMeshCon

PA Hackers original goal was to offer another hacker type con locally for those in the PA area but with the numerous cons spinning up daily and the formation of Bsides we have decided to change focus.  PA Hackers is now a local group that meets once a month to discuss topics of interest. Though our main goal is information security we are open to any one that is interested in any technology.

Each month after the previous months months meeting we will email members for a CFP (Call For Papers). During this time we ask that members step up to talk to the group on a topic they are researching currently or have interest in. If you do not want to talk in front of a crowd feel free to submit suggestions of talks to the group and a member will review them and possibly provide a talk on them.

Due to the nature and content of some of these talks we ask that members be 18 years or older. Though if your parents are willing to come with you and sign a release form during the first meeting then we will allow you to attend. PA Hackers is not a formal organization at this time and your attendance and participation in this event at your own free will and can not hold the organizer or the facility responsible for injuries or lost. Currently we are looking for places to hold meetings at have decided till we find a full time home that we will rotate locations based on attendance and requirements.
